Optimizating and standards of palliative care for geriatric patients

The article analyzes the current situation of development and implementation of state standards in the medical field, in particular in the field of palliative and hospice care in Ukraine. At this stage of the organization of palliative care for geriatric patients there are serious problems, which are largely determined by the shortcomings of the mechanisms of public administration of this system. These problems are national, which proves the need for their immediate consideration, solution and implementation of standards in the medical field.
