Vertebral Component in the Pathogenesis of Cerebral Palsy

In cerebral palsy all structures of the spine and especially joints, are exposed to secondary changes that are violating movements and forming functional vertebral blockages. These disorders are causing concomitant inflammatory reaction, anatomical and biochemical changes, and further delay and distort motor development of a child with cerebral palsy. The method of biomechanical correction of the spine, that is aimed at the restoration of joint mobility and removal of vertebral subluxations is eliminating these negative influences on the human body. This technique became the basis for the development of an integrated multimodal systems that incorporate different treatment methods – Intensive Neurophysiological Rehabilitation. System.
