Nowadays, the diagnostics and treatment of benign endometrial hyperplasia is determined by necessity and expediency of cancer prevention and also by the high frequency of disease reccurence. This pathology has become a cause of the reproductive, menstrual disorders and development of anemia of chronic disease. Among multiple risk factors not only heredity but metabolic dysfunction and hemostatic disorders take place as well as overweight and obesity.

The objective. The goal of our observation was to study the indexes of hepatocyte capability, erythropoiesis and hematopoiesis, ferrokinetics in the group of patients with leiomyoma, endometrial hyperplasia combined with overweight and obesity.

Patients and methods. 2 groups of women has been investigated. The first group included 30 patients with endometrial hyperplasia without any other somatic diseases. The study group involved 30 patients with elevated levels of Body Mass Index (BMI). The control group has comprised 20 healthy women of childbearing years. There were performed a various blood tests amongst the surveyed group of patients for the evaluation of hepatic cytolysis. This testing included the values of aminotransferase, alanine (ALT), aminotransferase, aspartate (AST), acetylcholinesterase (ACE), sorbitol dehydrogenase, ornithine carbamoyltransferase, arginase, glutathione S-transferase. There was also carried a spectrum of other blood tests to assay the indexes of erythropoiesis such as hemoglobin, red blood cells level, leucocytes, red blood cell distribution width (RDW), glycosylated hemoglobin, total iron-binding capacity, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, serum ferritin.

Results. The most expressed hepatic cytolysis has been detected within the study group. These results were caused by the unpermeable membranes of hepatocytes and their organells. These pathological changes were associated with obesity and ovweweight. The complete blood count and ferrokinetics datas amongst obese women with endometrial hyperplasia enables to mark the exccesive decrease of ferritin, hemoglobin and elevation of total iron-binding capacity comparing to the same laboratory values in the control group.

Conclusion. The review of reported results in this group of patients shows the deficiency of iron that indicates its’ latent deficiency and preconditions for the development of functional damage of hepatocytes. The results of this investigation point out the more profound destructive mechanisms of reciprocation of iron amid women with combined leoimyoma, endometrial hyperplasia and metabolic dysfunction that accompanies obesity.

Key words: leiomyoma, uterine fibroids, endometrial hyperplasia, obesity, hepatic cytolysis, ferrokinetics.
