Currently in the practice of medicine commonly used drugs based on the interferons. Nazoferon (Farmak) is an effective and safe medication for prevention and treatment of acute respiratory viral infections, including those complicated by bacterial infection. The lack of systemic action, significant side effects, adverse effects on the fetus, in some cases – addressing the needs of women in the symptomatic therapy, allow its use in pregnant high-risk groups with acute respiratory viral infection and bacterial colonization of the nasopharynx.
