Role of microbiota correction in complex treatment of pregnant women with herpesvirus infection

Relevance. Dysbiotic disorders and genital herpes are common among women of childbearing age, determines the urgency of enhancing the effectiveness of the treatment of these conditions.
Purpose — evaluation of the efficacy of probiotics in complex therapeutic and preventive measures for pregnant women with herpes infection.
Patients and methods. The main group — 30 pregnant women with herpes infection prevention using inclusion complex probiotic containing 4 strains of lactobacilli, the comparison group — 30 pregnant women with the knowledge of the pregnancy according to the Ministry of Health reports. In studies of vaginal microecology using microscopic examination and culture methods. The extent of violations biocenosis intestine cultural assessed by using standard techniques.
Results. Against the background of the dominant flora (increase of Bifido- and Lactobacillus) in the gut decreased opportunistic (hemolytic Escherichia coli, Proteus, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella and Candida). The 3-fold decreased the frequency of complaints (bloating, discomfort, constipation, mucus in the stool). To improve the microbial landscape of the vagina: a 3-fold increased incidence of Lactobacillus sowing, seeding rate decreased pathogenic and opportunistic pathogens (Staphylococcus aureus and hemolytic, Gardnerellas, Chlamydia, Ureaplazma, Mycoplasma and Candida). At 2–3 times to reduce the frequency of complaints (excessive vaginal discharge, itching, swelling and redness of the mucous). On the improvement of conditions for development of gestational process shows a decrease of almost 2 times the frequency of preeclampsia and placental insufficiency, and thus the fetal distress.
Conclusions. The results of the efficacy and safety of probiotics in treatment of pregnant women with herpes infection, allow us to recommend them for use in antenatal clinics and maternity homes.
