Retrospective evaluation especially secretion of stress-associated and pituitary-thyroid hormones in post-term pregnancy

The article presents data and theoretically grounded value features of cortisol, prolactin and pituitaryt-hyroid hormones in prolonged pregnancy. Urgency of the problem post-term pregnancy due to significant changes in the physiology of a complex biological system mother–placenta–fetus, which can then lead to multiple complications of pregnancy and a high incidence of neonatal and perinatal mortality of post-term children.
