Pumping out of breast milk: contemporary methods

Pumping out of breast milk should be considered as an important component of successful lactation, which provides a high level of milk secretion and prolonged breastfeeding of the baby, allows a woman to cope with lactation problems. The article discusses modern approaches to the organization of pumping out of breast milk taking into account the personified approach to the patient. Information is provided on indications to the pumping out, technology and modern methods of its conduct. The advantages of using modern breast pumps as compared to manual pumping are shown. New generation Philips Avent breast pumps, which accurately simulate peristaltic movement of the baby’s tongue during sucking, provide high efficiency of pumping out, make the process painless and comfortable, which contributes to the desire of a woman to maintain lactation and continue breastfeeding in difficult situations.
