Postoperative analgesia in obstetric and gynecological clinic: emphasis on nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs

In recent years greatly increased interest in the problem of post-operative pain, its pathophysiological aspect, methods for preventing its effects. This issue is currently very relevant for obstetric and gynecological clinic, since the frequency of surgical interventions in the delivery methods and for the treatment of gynecological patients increases. The advent of modern effective methods of analgesia, understanding the role of adequate pain relief in postoperative rehabilitation of patients motivated to search for new and improvement of the known variants of postoperative analgesia. The article presents current information about the theoretical basis of post-operative pain, a place of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in its overcome, and also analyzed its own three-year practical experience in the application of multimodal analgesia to include combinations of different forms of diclofenac sodium, which is an invitation to interested colleagues to exchange views on this issue.
