The article presents the results of the comparative characteristics of the use in continuous epidural analgesia (CEA) during childbirth in women with preeclampsia 2% lidocaine and 0.25% solution Longoio.

There were examined 284 women with preeclampsia of different severity aged from 18 to 42 years and the corresponding number of newborns. All mothers were divided into 2 groups: 1st – labor analgesia in which CEA was performed with 2% lidocaine; 2-nd – CEA was conducted in which 0.25% solution Logocan firm "Yuri-Pharm" Ltd (Ukraine). There were investigated Central hemodynamic and ANS.

It was found that continuous CEA 0.25% solution Longoio – an effective and safe method neuroaxial anesthesia, has no obvious negative impact on the main life support systems of women with preeclampsia and newborn, reduces the duration of the first stage of labor, provides a stable level of anesthesia, significantly reducing total dose of local anesthetic, ensures minimal motor block, retains the tone of the pelvic floor muscles, reduces the frequency of maternal hypotension.

Key words: epidural analgesia, preterm delivery, lidocaine, Logocan.
