Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. The consequences for the fetus and newborn

The article presents the results of a study of perinatal outcomes in 129 women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy depending on the treatment. Demonstrated that the pathological processes in the body of a pregnant woman due to cholestasis, could increase the frequency of preterm birth, fetal malnutrition, the risk of fetal death. It is shown that the inclusion of efferent therapy in the complex treatment of pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy improves pregnancy outcomes for the fetus and newborn.
