The surgical treatment outcomes of 94 children with pulmonary diseases were analysed. There were 42 (44.68%) and 52 (55.32%) episodes of bronchial and pulmonary benign tumours respectively. Depending on localization, disease treatment duration, its complications 63 (67.02%) patients underwent preserving surgery and 31 (32.98%) patients underwent limited lung resection. According to the study results, there were no recurrences and lethal outcomes. Thus, early diagnosis of bronchial tumours is necessary to prevent the development of organic inflammatory changes in the lung area distal to the tumour, which allows the radical local bronchoplastic resections of bronchi with the lung preserving. For such purpose timely referral of children to thoracic department is essential.
