Colposcopy examination of the cervix in patients with intraepithelial carcinoma, microinvasive and invasive cervical cancer Lygyrda N.
The national cancer Institute, Kiev A study of 220 patients colposcopy with cervical cancer. Among them: Group 1 – 78 patients with intraepithelial carcinoma, 2 group – 75 patients with microinvasive cancer (stage T1a). Group 3 – 67 patients with invasive cervical cancer (stage T1b).
Thick acetowhite epithelium – a sign characteristic intraepithelial carcinoma and microinvasive cancer in 47% of cases, and significantly more in 87% of cases infiltrative cervical cancer. For infiltrative cancer in 90% of the characteristic atypical vessels and 64% of the exophytic lesion, and on both sings can be traced significant difference between the groups. Such features as a coarse punctation and mosaic common to more than one third of patients of all groups.
