To define the efficiency of using totema, the investigators examined 25 reproductive age and perimenopausal patients with iron-deficiency anemia (IDA) who received preoperative preparation in various gynecological diseases (symptomatic uterine myoma, adenomyosis, and their concurrence). Preoperative therapy with totema rapidly restored hematological parameters in gynecological patients with IDA. This drug may be recommended as a means of preoperative preparation in these patients.
