Objective: To explore the clinical features of neonatal adaptation during the congenital pneumonia in newborns from mothers with TORCH-infections.
Patients and methods. The study included 110 newborns. Congenital pneumonia was in 80 children. The 38 children from the main group had congenital pneumonia from mothers with TORCH-infections. The comparison group consisted of 42 children from mothers without TORCH-infections, but with other disorders (adnexitis, colpitis et al.). The control group consisted of 30 newborns from somatically healthy women. Analysis of the current period of early neonatal adaptation was carried out taking into account the peculiarities of mother's pregnancy and childbirth.
Results. In mothers with TORCH-infection was marked a high incidence of complications of pregnancy and childbirth, which negatively affects the state of a newborn baby and leads to the pathological course of early neonatal adaptation.
Conclusions. Unfavorable effect of TORCH-infections during pregnancy on fetal development is proved.
Key words: TORCH-infections, neonatal adaptation, congenital pneumonia.
