Most adrenal pheochromocytomas and all adrenocortical adenomas are benign tumors, which do not metastasize or invade nearby tissues, but which may still cause significant health problems due to hormonal imbalance. The type of overproduced hormone depends on the part of the adrenal gland affected by the tumour. Some endocrine tumours may not cause an overproduction of hormones and don’t cause any obvious symptoms. There is considered a case of adrenal pheochromocytoma of a girl aged 3 years and 5 months old. Operative treatment led to a favorable outcome.

Key words: pheochromocytoma, treatment, children.
