According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, more than 16-17 thousand girls operate every year because of acute appendicitis. The condition in which inflammatory damage to the appendix and appendages of the uterus is simultaneously observed is called appendicular-genital syndrome. This article highlights the problems of the development of reproductive function in girls who have undergone surgery for appendicitis.
