Objective. To study the risk factors of the urinary system infection in children, the structure of pyelonephritis pathogens depending on the disease and age.
Patients and methods. We have studied the structure of the agents of pyelonephritis, their resistance in 60 children taking into account their age, risk factors and the course of disease. In the study were used clinical, instrumental, clinical laboratory and biochemical methods.
Results. It is found that during the choice of antibiotics should be used differentiated approach at every stage of patient treatment. It is recommended «step-down» antibiotic treatment at moderate pyelonephritis, in the mild forms — peroral way of antibiotics administration. Leading preparations are «protected aminopenicillins» cephalosporins of the II and III generation.
Conclusions. To optimize the effectiveness of the treatment of UTI in children should be done such measurements as urodynamics restoration, microbiocenosis correction, antioxidant therapy, stimulation of regenerative processes.
Key words: children, pyelonephritis, antibiotic therapy.
