Despite of wide spread of minimally invasive techniques, adhesions in gynecology are significant cause of postoperative morbidity. It is believed that adhesions may develop in up to 90% of gynecological surgeries. Among the methods of prevention of adhesions in the first place is meticulous surgical technique, reducing tissue trauma, desiccation. In recent years, lots of anti-adhesive agents have been actively implemented, which are divided into two major groups – floating and barrier agents. The second group is the most widely spread one. Obtained impressive results of the effectiveness of these tools, in particular the combination of hyaluronic acid hydroxyethyl starch.
