In the article the modern view on the pathogenesis of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract in children, accompanied by colic and flatulence is shown. According to the present studies for the last year was found that one of the major mechanisms of colic is a violation of intestinal microbiota. The main requirement for use of probiotics to infants is close to natural biocenosis with proven efficacy and safety. The unique composition of «Rotabiotik Baby» symbiotic allows to normalize intestinal microflora and to correct functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.

Key words: microbiota, children, colic, Rotabiotik Baby.
