The paper presents the review of literature and my own observations of the modern approach to prevent unwanted pregnancies and healthfulness effect of the vaginal hormonic releasing system NuvaRing on the female body. The thorough examination of the effectiveness, safety, nosotropic mechanism of the given contraceptive components action and the additional non-contraceptive effects is expounded.
Key words: family planning, contraception, efficiency, safety, releasing system NovaRing®.
