The article shows the main clinical and functional patterns of formation of inflammation of the gastric mucosa in children. Comparison of clinical and anamnestic data, objective and instrumental examination of patients with functional dyspepsia and chronic gastritis revealed many similarities established specific clinical manifestations of diseases that were common for both functional and organic disorders of stomach. During endoscopic examination of the stomach, regardless of the age of children and duration of the disease, most patients were revealed erythematous changes of gastric mucosa. Also the results of morphological study revealed the high degree of inflammation of MM with predominantly eosinophilic infiltration are hemocirculatory disorders of gastric mucosa, and in patients with long%term chronic inflammation the lymphocyte infiltration of the lamina propria, stromal fibrosis and focal destruction of the glands were found. The results of bacteriological examination indicates that prolonged disease can change stomach microflora features, that has great influence on forming and clinical picture of chronic gastritis.
