Scientometric estimation of the information and innovation resources, created according to the results of research works on the problem of children and adolescents health care in 2001–2014

Objective: to determine the status and trends as regards the development of the research in the field of children and adolescents health care in the period from 2001 till 2014 and to analyze its documentary effectiveness.
Materials and methods. 563 record cards that reflect the data on innovation and information components of a scientific product, created by the results of the completed research works, were selected for our study. Analytical, scientometric, statistical and qualimetric methods of assessment were used for the analysis of the selected materials.
Results and discussion. The structure of the research, namely: clinical, environmental, preventive, and social pediatrics was determined as a result of information-analytical estimation of the data, registered in the record cards. Over the period under investigation the number of clinical studies in pediatrics has increased significantly (from 58.88 % in 2001–2005 up to 71.88 % in 2011–2014). The number of studies in «ecological pediatrics» has decreased, and it has not changed at all during the years of observation as regards «preventive pediatrics» and «social pediatrics». The amount of studies in such spheres as «infectious diseases» and «clinical immunology and allergology» has increased significantly, and the bulk of medico-genetic investigations has slightly decreased. A stable realization of studies has been registered in other areas of pediatrics. Total amount of primary scientific documentation has increased by almost 40%. Overall amount of abstracts has increased by 1.6 times, articles by 1.58 times, and publications (books) by 2.8 times. A growing general tendency has been registered in the inventive activity: the proportion of patents total 53%, and certificates of copyrights registration comes to 7%. There is observed a significant increase in a number of all the components of innovative resources for the period from 2001 till 2014.
Conclusion. The data obtained confirm the expediency to analyze the results of scientific research to identify priority branches of learning in the planning and the
level of innovation readiness to introduce a scientific product into the practical health care.
