Optimization of treatment of comorbid disorders of the digestive system in children with allergic diseases

Objective: to optimize the treatment of comorbid disorders of the digestive system in children with allergic diseases. 
 

Patients and methods. The data on the examination and treatment of 175 children (93 boys and 82 girls) in the age 3–18 years with allergic diseases are presented. The main group of children consisted of 100 children (56 boys and 44 girls).This group in addition to the complex therapy had received tiotriosolini. The control group consisted of 75 children (37 boys and 38 girls) and had received complex therapy without tiotriosolini. The obtained results were processed with the use of conventional statistical methods. 
 

Results. In 66% of children with allergic diseases to the pathological process was involved the gastrointestinal tract. The revealed changes of the pancreas and liver during the allergic condition are reversible and can be interpreted as reactive.

Conclusions. Obtained results of our observations indicate about the necessity of the inclusion of tiotriosolini in the complex therapy of allergic diseases in children.
