Purpose — to determinate clinical and anamnestic features of bronchial asthma for children from an ecologically unfavorable region.

Patients and methods. There were analyzed 125 medical records of stationary sick children with bronchial asthma. The organized children — 85.6% (107), not organized — 14.4% (18), from them 60.8% (76) boys and 39.2% (49) girls. The children agestructure was divided as follows: the I group — children under 5 years of age — 32% (40), the II group — from 6 to 14 — 63.2% (79), the III group — from 15 to 18 — 4.8% (6).

Results. It was found that every second child under 5 years old and every third child from 6 to 14 years had burdened allergic (allergological) anamnesis. In the age group of children under 5 years intra and perinatal factors were recorded in every fourth child and more often in the anamnesis were registered obstructive bronchitis. The largest group of concomitant diseases made an allergic rhinitis, which occurs more than twice often in the agegroup of 6–14 years (77.2%; r<0.05) compared to the group of children under 5 years of age and adenoid vegetation of varying degrees were more frequent registered before the age of 5 against (25%) the children in the older age group (20.3%). The seasonal asthma exacerbation in children hospitalized on stationary treatment falls on the warm period of the year and amounts to 64.7% (77).

Conclusions. Thus, the received data are confirmation of the importance of the burdened allergic (allergological) anamnesis, intra and perinatal factors, presence of allergic rhinitis in forming of bronchial asthma in children from an ecologically unfavorable region.
