Pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperal period in women carried of genital herpes and cytomegalovirus infections

The objective: еxplore the peculiarities of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperal period in female carriers brilliant herpes and cytomegalovirus infection.
Patients and methods. There have been clinical laboratory and functional review of 135 women who were divided into the following groups: control group – 35 women who are not carriers of HSV and CMV, and have no signs of disease without significant somatic and gynecological pathology and who become pregnant on their own – control group (CG); I group – 50 women with missed abortion history who are carriers of HSV and CMV, which was introduced we developed a model of health care measures; II group – 50 women with missed abortion history who are carriers of HSV and CMV, whose tactics before and during pregnancy performed by conventional methods.
Results. Evaluating the clinical pregnancy was decided to divide it into two parts and evaluate the clinical course I half of pregnancy (22 weeks) and clinical course II half of pregnancy (22–40 weeks). In assessing the clinical course of the research results show that in the first half of pregnancy, the differences between the CG and the second group were pronounced. So women group II was significantly dominated by the threat of termination of pregnancy (64.0% vs. 11.4% of cases in kg, p<0.05), vaginitis (32.0% vs. 8.6% of cases in kg, p<0.05) and exacerbation of somatic pathology in the control group was 8,6%, in contrast to the second group of pregnant women, where somatic pathology observed in 20.0% of cases, p<0.05. Also women CMV carriers and HVS II group in the first half of pregnancy were 18.0% of the recurrence of these infections. In the second half of pregnancy differences between groups were also pronounced.
Conclusion. Conducted clinical and statistical analysis led to the conclusion that pregnancy, childbirth and puerperal period in women carriers brilliant herpes and cytomegalovirus infections occurring with fairly high frequency of obstetric and postpartum complications.
