Combined oral contraceptives are effective contraceptive drug and treatment of reproductive disorders in PCOS. The article outlines the main laboratory algorithms for excluding the most common endocrine diseases, the clinical manifestations of which are similar to PCOS and whose elimination is necessary for diagnosing this syndrome.
