Cysts, which can be revealed in female pelvis, usually come from the uterine adnexae, and can be often single-sided. However, there can be also detected serous cystadenomas of the uterus, albeit extremely rare.
The main diagnostic method is transvaginal echography, which, however, does not allow performing differential diagnosis between cystadenomas of ovaries and uterus, including malignant cases. The treatment of serous cystadenoma is surgical.
Key words: uterine cystadenoma, diagnosis, oncological genital disease.
