Sanogenetic correction of mucosal immunity in children with the use of modern phytoimmunomodulators.
84
Summary. In the case of children with recurrent respiratory infections the multidirectional nature of the content of the oscillations of the secretory immunoglobulin A (Sig A) in the saliva is demonstrated, depending on the type of general nonspecific adaptive reactionsof the body, which dictates the need-based approach to the appointment of causal treatment and immunorehabilitation. The dynamics of Sig A level in saliva in the treatment process allowed estimating the efficiency of phytoimmunopreparation «Imupret» in the complex of rehabilitation measures, that point on inclusion of sanogenesis mechanisms at it use in children: elimination of inflammatory and allergic processes, reduction of endogenous intoxication and autonomic disorders.

Is intestinal dysbiosis always secondary?
120
Summary. Problems of intestinal dysbiosis pathogenesis in children are discussed. An opinion is advanced that dysbiosis can appear not only in nosological period of disease, but also in premorbid and prenosological periods and it is primary in that case. On the base of intestinal biocenosis researching in inflammatory bowel diseases (chronic nonspecific nonulcerative colitis) and functional bowel diseases (irritated bowel syndrome) in children it was showed that intestinal dysbiosis can be both one of the causes of IBS and chronic colitis development and its effects.

Using of valproates in treatment of patients with West syndrome.
129
Summary. West syndrome is an epileptic encephalopathy of infancy, characterized by infantile spasms, hypsarrhythmia on EEG, psychomotor retardation.Infantile spasms are resistant to majority of antiepileptic drugs. Valproates are medication of choice in those children. Results of using valproates in 30 patients with West syndrome have been presented in the paper. 5 of them (16,6%) had had total remission of infantile spasms, in 16 (53,3%) frequency of seizures had reduced more then to 50%, 9 (30%) had been resistant. Valproates had appeared to be of higher efficacy in patients with idiopathic West syndrome and in patients with perinatal injury of the brain.
