Амоксицилін/клавуланат у клінічній практиці лікаря-педіатра

Резистентність до протимікробних препаратів — серйозна проблема сучасної медицини. Одним з ефективних засобів боротьби з резистентністю мікроорганізмів є комбінація бета-лактамних антибіотиків з інгібітором бета-лактамаз. Першим анти-β-лактамазним агентом стала клавуланова кислота, отримана на початку 70-х років XX століття з культури грибка Streptomyces clavuligerus. У 1972 р. з'явився новий антибактеріальний препарат з групи пеніцилінів — амоксицилін. Спектр його протимікробної активності та можливість орального прийому визначили вибір для створення комбінованого препарату — амоксицилін/клавуланату, що значно розширило сферу застосування препарату.
