The objective: The study of gestational complications, perinatal outcomes, state of newborns with thyroid dysfunction, the possibility of prevention.


Patients and methods. A clinical examination and laboratory analysis of pregnancy and perinatal outcomes in 118 pregnant women carriers of antibodies to thyroid peroxidase (АВ-TPO), who were randomized into 2 groups. Group A (experimental) included 59 pregnant carriers AВ-TPO who received daily medication levothyroxine sodium (50–75 mg/day) and the rate of immunoglobulin for intravenous injection at a dose of 50 ml three times at intervals of 1 every 3 days. Group B (comparison) included 59 pregnant carriers AВ-TPO who treated gestational and perinatal complications according to the orders of Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The control group consisted of 40 conditionally healthy patients with normal levels of thyroid peroxidase antibodies and physiological current of gestation process. The analysis of newborns from mothers studied groups.


Results. Established that in pregnant women–carriers of antibodies to thyroid peroxidase was significantly more registered pregnancy complications such as the threat of interruption in all periods gestational age, preeclampsia, fetal distress. The peculiarity of pregnancy in women carriers of antibodies to thyroid peroxidase is a high risk of interruptions in the period gestational age to 12 weeks. In the analysis of perinatal outcomes, newborns of mothers without correction carrier AT TPO have lower weight at birth and more intensive level of asphyxia.

 

Conclusion. Correction of thyroid dysfunction on the background of autoimmune process levothyroxine drugs and antibody authentically reduces the percentage of gestation, and perinatal complications.
