Aim: To investigate the level of damage (involvement) CNS depending on the level of anxiety.

Materials and methods. Сreening of 300 pregnant women in the third trimester of pregnancy were conducted. Psychological status through interviews, questionnaires, psychological tests (Spielberg anxiety scale) and clinical laboratory testing (the neuroantibodies level to TMP, NSE, S-100 protein, TBA) in venous blood were done.

Results. TMP, NSE, TBA antibodies level depends of the degree of anxiety. The normal values of S-100 protein antibodies were found. The highest neuroantibodies level in the group with high anxiety, 63.6% of TMP, NSE – 68%, TBA – 45.4%and lowest-in the low anxiety group (39.2%, 59.2% and 21 4%, respectively) were reported.

Conclusions. We can talk about the organic nature of the changes in the central nervous system of pregnant women with high levels of stress, which subsequently can be realized in the psycho-neurological pathology. That must be considered in dealing with these patients. Pregnant women with high levels of anxiety should be allocated in a possible risk for the neuropsychiatric disorders in their children.

Key words: pregnancy, stress, anxiety, fetus, neuroimmunology, neuroantibodies.
