Objective. To evaluate the features of the state of the fetus and newborn at women with a high risk of preeclampsia development.

Patients and methods. A total of 160 pregnant women: 80 women with a high risk of preeclampsia (study group) and 80 women without a high risk of preeclampsia (control group) are comprehensively examined. For an analysis of the obtained data were used the methods of parametric and nonparametric statistics, adopted in medicine.

Results. Research had shown that in women with a high risk of preeclampsia this pregnancy often took place with complications: 2 times more likely to report a threat of termination of pregnancy (31.3%), early preeclampsia was observed in 26.3% of women with placental insufficiency – at 36.3%, fetal distress — at 33.8%, fetal growth retardation — at 18.8%. 44.8% of women labor performed using by Caesarean section. In 17.5% of female births were premature. Perinatal mortality was in 37.1 ‰. The 89.7% of children were born in a state of asphyxia varying severity, with one in four children (24.1%) — in severe asphyxia. Prematurity were 22.4% of children, 31.0% — had signs of malnutrition. More than half (53.4%) children marked disadaptation syndromes.

Conclusions. The high frequency of perinatal complications in women at high risk of preeclampsia shows the relevance of improved methods of prevention of these dangerous pregnancy complications and its perinatal outcomes.

Key words: preeclampsia, a high risk of perinatal complications, fetus, newborn.
