Prospects and problems of establishment of the national registry of patients with primary immunodeficiency.

Summary. National Registry of Patients with Primary Immunodeficiency (PID) contains information about 650 patients (30 nosological entities) from 24 regions of Ukraine, who was diagnosed during 1995–2011 years. PID structure by the link of defeat of immune system in Ukraine is similar to the European Registry. In Ukraine, almost at all nosology PID is observed in 5–10 less then registration of these diseases in the world. Genetic confirmation of the diagnosis performed at 101 (15.5%) patients. Number of diagnosed primary immunodeficiency diseases is growing every year, hence the need of systematic data about the detected mutations, characteristics of the course of disease, analysis of the effectiveness of different treatments.

Antihomotoxic treatment of lymphadenopathy in children (view on the problem).

Summary. In the article the advantages of antihomotoxic therapy in the treatment of ENT diseases and childhood infections are shown. The characteristics of antihomotoxic preparations and patterns of its use in a variety of infections in children are presented. High efficiency and safety of antihomotoxic is the basis for their inclusion in the mono- or combination therapy with allopathic preparations in medical practice pediatricians, infectious disease specialists, otolaryngologists and general practitioners.

Summary. The experience of the use of complex homeopathic preparation which is containing ginkgo biloba, hawthorn and white mistletoe, in the treatment of headache in children with autonomic dysfunctions is shown. High efficacy and good tolerability allow recommending its use in children.

Summary. The clinical effectiveness of domestic mixtures with oligosaccharides and nucleotides «Malyutka-1 premium» and «Malyutka-2 premium» in the feeding of infants is studied. The results of conducted study showed that the mixture is well tolerates, provide requirements of the children of the first year of life in important nutrients.

Summary. The examination of 117 children of the first year of life, living in the big industrial center, and of 245 children from the city with minor anthropogenic load is conducted. There are found disturbances of development, immunity and microbiota stutus in children who are resides in the conditions of industrial city. The positive effect of prophylactic use of probiotics on the health condition of the present group of children is shown.

Taking into account the high rates of caries of primary teeth and modern risk factors for its development a set of preventive measures aimed at the formation of caries-resistant enamel structure was created. The role of the pediatrician in the prevention of primary teeth caries was defined, aimed at formation of a positive motivation of parents to dental prophylaxis.

Features of cardiorespiratory adaptation in preterm infants during kangaroo mother care.

Summary. This article presents the results of daily monitoring ECG with parallel recording reopneuvmogrammy of 30 premature babies who are nursed by the mother care kangaroo, and 22 infants are nursed with standard care. Established the existence of periodic breathing with respiratory pauses of all newborns and significantly more severe electrical instability of myocardium in children whose mothers did not use the method of kangaroo mother care.

Efficiency of nasal irrigations by «Aqua Maris» spray in children with frequent recurrence of nasopharyngeal diseases.

Summary. The investigation of efficacy and safety of «Aqua Maris» nasal spray for treatment and prevention of recurrent adenoiditis and / or adenotonsillitis in children at the age 2-7 years was conducted. The positive effect of the preparation is due to several effects: the restoration of the normal functioning of the barrier-cleaning function of nasal epithelium; regeneration of cytoarchitectonic of mucosal nasopharyngeal; eradication of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microflora; increasing concentrations of secretory sIgA in saliva; safety of use.

Innovative organizational strategy for critical congenital heart disease.

Summary. We described innovative organizational strategy for neonates who have prenatal diagnose of critical congenital heart disease (cCHD) with focus on earliest surgical repair, using autologous umbilical cord blood. Since September of 2009 to August of 2012, 390 neonates with cCHD were operated at our institution. For this period 50 neonates underwent the new strategy. Neonates were admitted to the cardiac department during an hour after birth. No patients required ICU admission, interventional procedures, mechanical ventilation or medications before surgery that result in significant positive economic effect compared with conventional approach. Mean age at operation was 3.9±1.1 hours (2–6). Mean volume of harvested cord blood was 85±24 mL (50–140). Forty (80%)neonates underwent open cardiac surgery without homologous blood transfusion.

Summary. The article deals with the results of the study the clinical efficiency of the drug Fluditec in children with acute respiratory diseases. The estimation of efficiency was by the clinical evaluation positive dynamic of cough and assessment of patients and their parents. The pronounced Fluditec therapeutic effect and safety in treating cough in children was made.

The evaluation of clinical efficacy and safety of use of silicon dioxide in the form of powder for suspension («Atoxil») in the complex treatment of food allergies in children by the age from1 to 5 years is conducted. High efficiency and lack of side effects allow recommending the inclusion of Atoxil to the standard therapy of clinical manifestations of food allergy in children from the beginning of the second year of life.

Summary. The algorithm of diagnosis and treatment of patients with food allergy was represented in the article. The algorithm is based on the recommendation of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID, 2010) and Guidelines World Allergy Organization — «Diagnosis and Rationale for Action against Cow's Milk Allergy» (DRAGMA, 2010). Clinical and anamnestic features of allergic diseases in children of zaporizhya region.

Summary. A comparative study of clinical features of current medical history of allergic disease (AD) in children of Zaporozhya region and the cities of Zaporozhya region (Primorsk, Berdyansk) is conducted. It is found that the implementation of the «atopic march» with bronchial asthma development is more peculiar for urban children whose mothers often had abnormal pregnancy and childbirth. For children with AD is more typical high polymorphism of complaints and at least two co-morbidities. Comprehensive assessment of clinical and anamnestic features of AD in children allow identifying the risk factors of allergic diseases development for formulation of personalized preventive and therapeutic measures, differentiated approach to forecasting of the social adaptation of the child and its overall health.

State of hepatobiliary system and pancreas in children with allergic diseases and dermo-respiratory syndrome.

Summary. In the article the results of examination and treatment of 175 children (93 boys and 82 girls) at the age from 3 to 18 years with allergic disorders are presented. In 66% of children with allergic diseases in the pathological process was involved the gastrointestinal tract. The detected changes of the pancreas and the liver in patients with allergic conditions are reversible and can be treated as reactive changes. In the complex therapy of the main children's group (56 boys and 44 girls) thiotriazolin were included. The results of study show the feasibility of application of the present preparation into the complex therapy of allergic diseases in children.

Di George's syndrome: from classic triad to variety of clinical displays.

Summary. Di George syndrome is a primary immunodeficiency disease characterized by defecate of T-cell immunity, hypoparathyroidism and abnormalities of the heart and the greate vessels. The syndrome is caused by the defects of development of the third and fourth pharyngeal pouches , which leads to aplasia of thimys, hypo- or aplasia of parathyroid glands and malformations of the heart and greate vessels. A variety of clinical manifestations caused diagnostic difficulties. The article contains three our observations of Di George syndrome in children.

Summary. The problem of effective, safely treatment and prevention of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections is one of the urgent problems of clinical pediatrics. In the article the data on the use of antiviral preparations for the treatment and prevention of viral respiratory infections in children is summarized. The literature review devoted to the pharmacological properties of native antiviral herbal Immunoflazid, Proteflazid is conducted. Clinical result of their use in children with acute respiratory infection proves the feasibility of including these preparations to the therapeutic and prophylactic scheme.

The health status of intellectually gifted children.

Summary. They studied the health of 157 intellectually gifted younger students. Prescribe a higher frequency of autonomic dysfunction, and astenoidnogo digestivnogo somatotype, decreased physical development. Identified: predominantly type sympathicotonic autonomic reactivity and gipersimpatikotonicheskaya. Installed more formed alpha-and beta-rhythms, elevated levels of adrenaline and reduced content of serotonin.
