Hemophilia A takes a leading place in the structure of inherited disorders of hemostasis in children. Taking into consideration the chronic course, the need for regular lifelong substitution treatment, frequent complications and disability of patients, the interest of scientists and practitioners to the subjective component of the disease, namely assessing the quality of life related to health, is increasing from year to year. This was reflected in the implementation of methods for assessing the quality of life of children with hemophilia A in the theoretical and practical medicine. The attempts to analyze data on the quality of life related to health of children with hemophilia and practical approaches to its evaluation in the world medicine and in Ukraine in particular have been made in this article.
Key words: haemophilia, quality of life, children.
