Dynamics of body weight of children with intrauterine growth retardation during the application of energotropic preparations

The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy of energotropic preparations in dynamics of body weight in newborns with intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR). A total of 76 children with intrauterine growth retardation were under observation. During the inclusion of the combined preparation of energotropic action Korilip neo to the basic therapy the average weight of the newborns with IUGR gained in weight of 200 grams for one month than children with IUGR who were treated with basic treatment without metabolic correction. The results of examinations had shown a higher clinical effect of the combination of energotropic preparations with conducting basic therapy.
