Clinico-statistical analysis of thyroid cancer in women with infertility

The article presents a clinical and statistical analysis of thyroid disease in women with infertility and structure of infertility in women with thyroid pathology. 400 women were divided into two groups: 350 women with thyroid disease and infertility (study group) and 50 fertile women with thyroid disease (control group). Pathological ultrasonic changes observed in every third woman with infertility, which was 2.6 times more likely than fertile women, and in both groups was dominated by signs of autoimmune thyroiditis, which share was significantly higher in the group of women with infertility. Euthyroid goiter were observed in 28 patients with infertility, which was 4 times more likely than fertile women. Women with thyroid disease are at a high risk of infertility and require additional testing and correction in the preparation of protocols of assisted reproductive art.
