В Україні антивакцинаторство є надзвичайно актуальною проблемою, тому метою даного наукового пошуку було встановити основні причини відмов від щеплень та надати факти, які їх заперечують. 
 

Пацієнти та методи. Проведено анкетування 225 батьків дітей 2010 та 2011 року народження, трьох дільниць м. Вінниці, під час якого виявлено основні причини відмов від вакцинації. 
 

Результати дослідження обґрунтовано з огляду на відомі наукові факти. Усі наведені нами причини відмов від щеплень тією чи іншою вакциною є науково необґрунтованими і безпідставними. 
 

Висновки. Детальний аналіз причин відмов від вакцинації та доказ необхідності та доцільності проведення щеплень дасть змогу охопити масовою вакцинацією більшу кількість населення та захистити значну кількість людей від тяжких інфекційних хвороб.
