У статті висвітлені дані зарубіжних досліджень та клінічних протоколів про патологію вагітності, що характеризується активацією клітинного та гуморального ланок імунної системи з розвитком клінічних проявів відторгнення різного ступеня вираженості. У публікаціях висловлюються ідеї про паралелі між гострим відторгненням трансплантата і процесом відторгнення плода при спонтанному аборті і, крім того, між відторгненням і прееклампсією.

На сьогодні клітинні механізми відторгнення алогенного або напівалогенного трансплантата є більш вивченими, ніж гуморальні. Продемонстровано, що всі типи відторгнення проходять із залученням антитіл різної природи.
