Purpose – to investigate the modern options of the human papillomavirus infection treatment in pregnant women.

Materials and methods. A total of 100 women with diagnosed human papillomavirus were examined. The gestation course and delivery, and status of urogenital microbiota were determined.

Results. The results of clinical observation of pregnant women infected with human papillomavirus are showed in the article. It was found that pregnancy in such women was accompanied by a large number of different complications and changes in the state of urogenital microbiota, which was needed to be treated. For the treatment of human papillomavirus is recommended the human interferon alfa-2b «VITAFERON®» after 28 weeks of gestation.

Conclusions. In pregnant women infected with human papillomavirus, the pregnancy and childbirth are associated with significant number of complications. The human papillomavirus during the pregnancy causes negative impact on microbiota. It is recommended investigating the human papillomavirus in the pregnant women who had a history of inflammatory diseases of the genital organs, miscarriage and other reproductive health complications. While detected human papillomavirus across pregnancy, human interferon alfa-2b should be used for therapeutic purposes after 28 weeks of gestation.

Key words: pregnant, human papillomavirus, urogenital microbiota, treatment.
