In the article presented modern knowledge concerning frequency and spread of the secondary myopathy in patients with rheumatic pathology especially juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. We provided analyze of the etiological and pathogenic aspects of the process and summarized trigger mechanisms of the muscle damage, pathways of its development. Presented results prove the plural influence on the development of the process inflammatory activity and uncomplete condition of the muscle elements on the origin of the secondary myopathy.
