Clinical features of chronic small-bowel obstruction in children with some malformations ofpancreaticoduodenal area (a literature review and the own experience)

Congenital malformations of the upper digestive tract continue to be the urgent question of modern neonatal surgery making the significant contribution to the infant mortality rate. The birth defects of pancreas and duodenal webs prevail among the causes of small-bowell obstruction. Timely diagnosis of these defects is important regarding negative clinical consequences of the pathology. The article provides a thematic literature review and the own clinical observations.
